An elite bodyguard sent directly from Central Command. Your goal is to protect the Heads of Staff and the Nanotrasen Representative from any potential threats that come to the station. They are assigned to protect all Heads of Staff, but should prioritize the Captain and Nanotrasen Representative, except in cases where Central Command directly countermands this. While you possess access to every radio channel, the most important one you'll be utilizing is 'c' for the command channel.
The Blueshield officer is a job often overlooked, and often misused. The Blueshield is not supposed to be security, nor are they command.
The Blueshield officer's main job is to protect the Heads of Staff from any potential threats that appear on station. Certain command roles should be prioritized over other command roles.
Most Blueshields have ran into this issue before, it goes as follows: The Captain, The Nanotrasen Representative., and the Research Director are all in trouble. Who do you prioritize first? According to the Chain-Of-Protection, also known as the COP, the solution is easy. Because the Nanotrasen Representative is direct Central Command staff, they are to be prioritized first. Directly below them would be the captain, and the Research Director would be prioritized last.
From most to least prioritized,
A Blueshield officer has many different types of equipment available to them when they arrive on station. The weapons are as follows.
