The Medical Doctor is the standard role and first line of defense against the station dying - whether that be due to ineptitude or sabotage is usually not their concern so much as what it did to you. You are expected to treat wounds with the provided chemicals and topicals, complete surgeries for more extreme damage and resuscitate or clone dead crew. Any crew who die in a state that can't be fixed should be taken to the morgue for storage. If you don't happen to understand what you're doing, don't be afraid to ask your fellow Doctors or your CMO.
¶ Equipment
All Medical Personnel should be familiar with the equipment they'll need or begin shifts with in order to aid their fellow crewmates.

¶ Tips
- Keeping a small stock of bottles with basic medicines like bicaridine, epinephrine and tricordazine can help out later on, whether you're lacking a chemist or if they've gone rogue.
- It's at your discretion on how to treat injuries. Critical patients will likely need chemicals that heal quickly, whereas heavily injured but conscious ones can make do with more generic chemicals.
- You can keep track of crew health with the Crew Monitoring Computer or a handheld crew monitor. There's always a monitor in MedBay's front area, but more can be found in areas like CMO's room or the Bridge.
- Co-ordinate with your fellow doctors - call out when you're injecting a medicine and don't focus on someone with multiple doctors on them already.
- If you can, work with the Bartender to procure certain drinks that can aid the crew. In a pinch, you can find a maints bar and get the vend in there to the chemist if needed.
- Lost your analyzer? Medical crew PDAs have a MedTek package letting them be used as an analyzer too.
- Most first treatments should be either tranexamic acid or using gauze on bleeding limbs, to prevent further bloodloss and its related damage.
- If you need to do surgery or cloning, ensure you have biomass! Without biomass, you have no material to clone a new body with or mass to create a new limb from.
- In a pinch, a terminally dead body's limb can be used to replace someone else's limb... unless it's their head.
- Every species has different limbs and organs. This also includes non-player species.
